In “Main Stage” the latest work from the collective, SillySeason, they focus on Chekhov’s universe and "The Seagull" and concludes a season of shows that, starting with a classic work of European dramaturgy, tend to rescue and inscribe lost narratives from the greatest fiction of all time - History. History is the greatest fiction we have ever been told. To live (through life and art) is a luxury that only some of us can partake of. Welcome to the stage of fatigue and self-delusion. Life is what drives us to live and through which we allow ourselves to live. It is a way of discarding the responsibility and tragedy that living entails for us all. We relinquish the stage and life and sit in the audience, not because we don’t like the stage, but because it is urgent to erect a new stage, that is more representative and egalitarian. But beware: this is a performance that will try to make us laugh.
A língua através da qual grande parte da comunidade surda em Portugal (cerca de 30.000 pessoas) comunica entre si. A expressão "língua gestual" refere-se à língua materna de uma comunidade de surdos. As línguas gestuais são línguas naturais, que surgem e se desenvolvem naturalmente, como as línguas orais. É produzida pelos movimentos das mãos, do corpo e por expressões faciais.
