Teatro Oficina Readings

With Tânia Dinis, around “Morro como País” by Dimítris Dimitriádis
Readings

Ages 6 and up

The reading program at Teatro Oficina involves more than just gathering around dramatic texts. We believe that people are the best texts, and it will be our guests who choose what we will read together, discuss, and ultimately cross out. Our guests will include familiar faces from our Teatro Oficina; and regarding the proposed venues for these meetings, we will try to hold them throughout the Oficina space, to see if Teatro Oficina, beyond familiar faces, can offer another kind of landscape.

A well, a swamp, a machinery archive, a place, in short, from where ghosts blow: we begin by suggesting the CCVF sub-stage for the first meeting of the shared readings for the last term of the year. Tânia, a living machine of reviving memories (both her own and others’), is the first guest. Let’s see if we understand what a corpse is, and if we can grasp how it can also be a country.
