Alberto Sampaio (1841–1908) was not only a remarkable historian but also a passionate admirer of the fruits of the land. His personal archive includes numerous studies and records on fruit growing, floriculture, horticulture, agriculture, and viticulture in the Minho region. On his birthday, in the house where he was born, we renew the exhibition in his memory, revealing previously unseen writings and objects. As part of this celebration, we will also host a gathering of local producers, creating a moment for knowledge-sharing around some of the most traditional crops of northern Portugal.
