As part of Spring Forward Festival in Guimarães (6-9 May 2026 ), Aerowaves Europe is inviting 10 dance makers based in Portugal to apply for a capacity building programme with a development workshop, networking and access to Spring Forward festival programme.
Professional Development Workshop | 6 May, 2-5pm, Centro Cultural Vila Flor
Led by Anikó RÁCZ, artistic director of SÍN Arts Center Hungary, this workshop focuses on working in an international context and artistic career development. It also offers an insight to Aerowaves.

Online meeting with Anna Arthur, Elisabetta Bisaro and Roberto Casarotto to get to know more about Aerowaves, its aims and activities.
Morning Talks | Spring Forward 2026
Morning discussions facilitated by Markéta Perroud, co-funder of Danceconnected in Prague and Anikó RÁCZ and one curated talk including present Aerowaves artists
We are looking for 10 Portugal-based dance makers curious to discover the different facets of contemporary dance across Europe and interested in developing and/or expanding their connections with international artists and presenters. Applicants must be available to participate in all the scheduled events of Artists Encounter, and need to understand and converse confidently in English.
Application deadline: 31 January 2026, at 11 pm (GMT).
NOTE: Aerowaves will not be able to cover travel and accommodation expenses, nor pay a fee to the participants.
