In partnership with the bookstore “Rimas e Tabuadas”, a public presentation will be held for the 1st Contarinhar Literary Gathering, scheduled for the end of May 2026, along with its associated literary contest. During this event, information about the contest will be shared, and the contest rules will be made available.
The Literary Gathering aims to serve as a space for dialogue between the material tradition of pottery and contemporary literary expression, with the Cantarinha dos Namorados de Guimarães as its thematic centerpiece. It will explore dimensions such as love, cultural identity, memory, emotional symbolism, and artistic creation. The literary contest is open to all ages and seeks to act as a catalyst for local and national literary creation.

A unique handcrafted product of essential preservation, the Bordado de Guimarães (Guimarães Embroidery) was the subject of an application submitted by A Oficina to the NORTE 2030 Program. Its approval and funding will enable the promotion of its social, economic, symbolic, and cultural value through a series of artistic creation and cultural mediation activities to be carried out throughout the year.
