Mónica Faria presents ideas to renew Loja Oficina, where Guimarães Embroidery—a certified artisanal product and a symbol of the city’s identity—will gain new expression and enter into dialogue with contemporaneity.

Under the theme “If This House Were Mine,” the project also proposes taking the embroidery to 21 points across the city, involving 21 artists and students who will reinterpret its spirit and everyday urban life through this art form. The initiative strengthens a sense of community and sharing, connecting tradition with contemporary creation, and affirming embroidery as a living language in constant reinvention.
