Hofe is the stage name behind the musical project led by singer Igotz Méndez. His career began in 2018 as part of the collective Nibbass, with which he quickly established himself within the underground scene of Euskal Herria. Since then, he has stood out as a versatile artist with an alternative, creative and radically singular proposal.
In 2020 he began to consolidate his current artistic identity. With the label Oso Polita, he released his first mixtape, Amodioa (together with producers 4:40), followed by a series of singles and collaborations that reinforced his personal signature, such as Dinero Que Vuela with Ben Yart, Vampireando with La Élite, Cada Vez Ke Te Pienso with BRAVA, and Nadie Cuando Lloro with Merina Gris.
Closing out 2023, he released the EP Amorrua, a continuation of the previous project. 2024 is shaping up to be a decisive year. With more than 35 concerts confirmed across the country, Hofe brings his powerful live show to stages nationwide, presenting the songs from his latest EP.
In 2025, he began producing his upcoming and highly anticipated album.
