Panos Malactos is a Cypriot dancer and choreographer whose work moves between queerness, identity, and transformation through a raw, physically driven, and emotionally charged language. His practice draws from everyday gestures and surreal imagery, creating spaces where tenderness, absurdity, and discomfort coexist. Rooted in movement yet open to theatricality, his pieces unfold as intimate encounters — at once personal, playful, and political.

Trained in musical theatre at Bird College and in ballet and contemporary dance at the Rambert School, he combines technical precision with a strong performative presence. Panos’ artistic universe is shaped by a curiosity about the body as a site of contradiction, memory, and resistance. His work has toured across Europe and New Zealand, inviting audiences into landscapes where movement becomes a way of rethinking identity, vulnerability, and belonging.
