Loja Oficina opens its doors for an Open Workshop dedicated to Guimarães Embroidery. Participants will have the opportunity to learn ancestral techniques and master the 21 characteristic stitches of this certified embroidery, an identity symbol of the city. Under the guidance of Sameiro Fernandes, this workshop invites participants to rediscover the refinement and precision of this unique art.
A Oficina submeteu uma candidatura ao Programa NORTE 2030 de olhos postos na preservação e valorização do Bordado de Guimarães, através de ações de mediação cultural e de envolvimento comunitário, de projeção e alcance turístico, de comunicação e de interface digital, e de iniciativas entre o artesanato local e a criação artística, que permitem transmitir este saber tradicional, que faz parte da cultura vimaranense.
