Katarse ou Kê
Event
The relationship between Theatre and Music is almost as obvious as it is historical, yet we so often seem to forget to dance. Katarse ou Kê is precisely that: music and theatre, catharsis and fear.
We have dedicated this edition of Katarse ou Kê to the purging of Teatro Oficina's most recent productions.
We invited Colectivo Raso, whose debut album is devoted both to wandering and to the alleyway where reality and imagination come together to settle old scores, to create a performance in the CCVF substage, directly beneath the set of Everything in Avignon and Me Here. And because that production sought to expose its own failure, as well as the failure of the entire theatrical apparatus, there could be no better work to donate to the Museum of Failure and Defeat, which opens on the very same day.
