Artistic creation has been one of Westway LAB’s distinctive vectors, since its launch in 2014. The previous six editions promoted 28 artistic residencies, that resulted in the same number of showcases and several new musical projects that, due to the incredible experience of the festival, discovered an artistic vision that justified continuity of the works. This year, given the impossibility of bringing together national and foreign artists at the Candoso Creation Centre for unbridled artistic creation, we will celebrate the past six years of creation, formation of artistic community and legacy, with the presence of Portuguese artists who participated in the residencies and representatives of Tio Júlio and Cor de Tangerina - places that have welcomed the Artist Talks, through conversations, audiovisual projections and acoustic performances.
